Influencer content creation for Jaguar Land Rover

Following the rise of ad blockers, changing algorithms and a drop-in brand engagement. Influencer marketing has become the most effective form of social advertising. Now, even the biggest brands now recognise its value as part of marketing strategy. Momentum Social were asked to test drive and create content for Jaguar Land Rover’s upcoming 2018 models, during the final range day of 2017.

Creating hero content at Stoke Park

During the day at Stoke Park, the Momentum team we’re able to get behind the wheel of every new model. Using camera rigs to create editorial photo and video content. In order to optimise the process and ensure the content was as shareable as possible, Momentum enlisted the help of social influencers; @ThisisTimothy @TheDebonair and @Alex.wood. The use of influencers added personalisation to the content as well as access to new audiences. The Instagram content alone achieved over 100,000 impressions.

Retailers, publications and luxury fashion brands regularly collaborate with automotive launch events in order to feature products. In order to maximise ROI, Momentum worked with selected menswear brands alongside the influencers.

Joules country wear, Black accessories and Burton Menswear all benefited from the content created by Momentum Social. The ability to feature luxury menswear alongside a premium automotive brand and social influencers, created engaging content for paid campaigns. This is a growing trend with brands such as Volvo opting to launch the new XC40 SUV in collaboration with GQ and Alexandra Wood Tailoring, an event which Momentum Social will also cover.
